Preparing Educators to Prepare the Next Generation
Welcome to the 教育学院 and 人类发展 (CEHD). The college, along with the university, had its origin in 1877. We became fully accredited in 1972 by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education.
The vision of the 教育学院 and 人类发展 is to be the premier Urban institution of choice within the state of Mississippi, 该地区, and the nation for the preparation of teachers, 辅导员 and mental health professionals, 专业发展专家, 学校领导, and other school related professional practitioners with the latest in technology, best practices and as responsive educators with adaptive expertise.
We are also proud of our designation as a provider institution and partner with the U.S. PREP National Center for Educator Preparation Transformation.
